National Network for Youth
Harry Wilson, MPA, expert in homeless youth, youth development, and family services, is a consultant for the National Network for Youth. Mr. Wilson has more than 30 years of experience serving youth and communities through leadership positions in the Federal and State governments, associations, and community service organizations.
Mr. Wilson served as Associate Commissioner for the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where he led and participated in many breakthrough initiatives, including the Mentoring Children with Incarcerated Parents grant program, National Youth Summit Series, Runaway and Homeless Youth demonstration programs, Intergovernmental Working Group for Youth Programs, and The Federal Mentoring Council. He is the recipient of many awards for his work, including the Juvenile Justice Award for Service to Children and Families and the National Youth Impact Award.
Mr. Wilson's prior experience includes nearly a decade of consulting to HHS in Federal youth and grant programs. In addition, he served as Dean of Students for the Montcalm School (a private residential treatment center) and Residential Administrator at the Starr Commonwealth Schools (a nonprofit treatment facility for youth) in Michigan. He also trained and consulted with the Michigan Association of Children's Alliances.
